(ISC)² – the world’s largest nonprofit membership association of certified cybersecurity professionals – today announced a global call for speakers for its ninth annual Security Congress conference this year in Orlando, Florida from October 28-30, 2019. Submissions will be accepted until March 11, 2019. This year’s conference will be the largest ever as the Security Congress has become a truly international event, with more attendees and sessions than ever before, geared toward a global audience and the cybersecurity challenges they face across many regions.
Security Congress 2019 will offer more than 100 educational and thought leadership sessions across as many as 20 tracks from a roster of an estimated 150 speakers. These sessions will aid security leaders by arming them with the latest knowledge, tools and expertise to protect their organizations.
Continuing with our theme of “Enrich. Enable. Excel.” the conference will focus on bringing together leading cybersecurity professionals to advance industry best practices. Over the course of the three-day event, more than 4,000 cybersecurity professionals, including researchers, frontline practitioners, CISOs and CIOs will share information on the industry’s most pressing topics, including critical infrastructure, IoT, privacy, cloud security, professional development and more.
“Security Congress has evolved to become a can’t miss international meeting of the minds among our members and the cybersecurity community at large,” said John McCumber, director of cybersecurity advocacy, North America, (ISC)². “Each year, our team seeks out and selects the best and brightest speakers in the cybersecurity industry to share actionable, best-practice knowledge with cybersecurity practitioners who are in the trenches and on the front lines of our profession.”
